Marisol González
(Director/Writer/Executive Producer) is a Dominican filmmaker and producer. She lives in New York. Currently she works at HBO. González earned Siempre Mujer Magazine’s ‘Always Inspiring’ honor for her hands-on commitment to important causes in the Hispanic community. In 2011 she was presented the ‘Proclamation Award’ by New York State Senator José Peralta for her “outstanding service to the Latino community.” In 2018, her documentary “Children Behind the Wall” won an award for Best Produced Documentary (International) and was nominated for Best Director Feature and Best Indie Film at the Hudson River International Film Festival. The same year, González was invited to speak at the United Nations in a roundtable with Nobel Peace Prize Winner Dr. Ernest Kahan and prominent Latino designer Raul Peñaranda; they discussed how creative economy, education, and independent film can be used for development. González is in the final stages of capturing her story in her first book.

Alina Mogollon-Volk
(Director/Writer/Producer) is a Long Island based producer, videographer and editor. Her film, Festival, was selected for the 2020 Long Beach International Film Festival and Point Lookout Film Festival and her original screenplay “40 Miracles” was a finalist at the Long Island International Film Expo. Her work has also been selected for the Making Waves Film Festival and her short film Home screened at the MOMA Studio Museum of Harlem. Alina was the senior technician and lead producer at LYNBROOK - TV, the government television station of the Village of Lynbrook for many years before starting her current role as the multimedia Senior Production Manager for all of HealthCentral brand websites. She has produced and edited videos for NYU Langone, a number of citizen non-profits, Paper Tiger TV and worked as a freelance producer for HBO. Alina is an MFA graduate in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College where she has been an adjunct professor in the Film and Media department.

My passion is turning concepts into visual stories that not only catch the eye but also stay with the audience. Whether for brands or festivals, I aim to create motion pieces that feel bold, dynamic, and unforgettable.

Amalia Gomez Micone
Amalia Gomez Micone is a committed, proactive, and creative professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit and business sectors. She has been involved with large scale organizations such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the DREAM Project, the American Heart Association, and World Central Kitchen. As a founding member of the Maestro Cares Foundation, Amalia has been dedicated to supporting underserved youth in the US and Latin America.
Amalia is a key asset for organizations or businesses looking to expand and market their company. Her entrepreneurial, marketing, and communications background has made her invaluable to the organizations she serves through her targeted outreach and effective communication with donors and investors.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Amalia serves on the Board of Trustees of the Monterey Museum of Art in Monterey, California. She is also a member of Shack15 and the Shack15 Angel Syndicate with Shack15 Ventures in San Francisco. Amalia's diverse background and commitment to various causes highlight her dedication to making a positive impact on the greater global community. -
Angelica Diaz
(Marketing Assistant) is a dynamic creative with experience in nonprofit work at RTA (Rehabilitation Through the Arts) and DASQ (Dominico-American Society of Queens). Angelica is a BA graduate in Literature from SUNY Purchase with a focus on Black and Latino authors. Her senior thesis titled, “Pleasure and Liberation: From Frederick Douglass to Summer Walker” was awarded the Ronnie Scharfman Award for Diaspora Studies in Humanities. Her passion is storytelling and centering Black and Brown experiences in history through an artistic lens.
